Can you imagine how steady life would be if you only made an additional tens of millions per month? How interesting isn’t it?
In a world that is always changing and always developing very quickly, it is important for you to prepare income other than ordinary work. Every day, every month, every time, you can be released, fired, or terminated by the company where you work. Look at the unemployment rate in Indonesia and seriously ask yourself if you feel 100% comfortable that you won’t be getting laid off anytime soon.
As such, one of the best ways to ensure your financial success from employment status is to build a passive, or nearly self-sustaining stream of income. In the last few months, I’ve discovered a new way to make money on the side, and I think it’s one of the best strategies for making money without a job.
My company helps several clients set up simple “One Page” affiliate sites, which are capable of generating passive income through affiliate marketing. We’re using a pretty simple framework, so it’s pretty easy to replicate yourself. The framework looks a bit like this:
- Build an SEO Optimized Web with Affiliate Products
- Use Google Ads to Increase Traffic
- Amazon Associates Cookies
This framework really only has three steps, but it’s actually more of a circular cycle than a linear system. The first step is to build an SEO-optimized site with affiliate product listings, which will basically look like a site telling you about the “best products for XYZ”. In fact, most of the sites you’ll see talk about physical products using affiliate marketing to drive revenue.
Once you understand the framework of the One Page, Six Figures system, you can repeat it over and over again, increasing your passive income potential over time. With that said, let’s get to the first step of the framework.
Build SEO Optimized Pages with Affiliate Products
Look, you really don’t have to be a genius to set up a one-page affiliate site. I can guarantee that you can have it set up in under an hour with no prior web development skills. The best way to create a website from scratch is to use a simple website builder like GetResponse and create a very simple affiliate page.
GetResponse’s builder is very intuitive and easy to use, and I also think they offer one of the cheapest solutions I’ve found for email marketing. To start creating an affiliate website using GetResponse, click on the “create landing page” button on the dashboard.
GetResponse offers dozens of free templates to build your affiliate site, but I prefer to use simple themes because they offer the most availability for customization. For this sample website, I’m going to show you an old affiliate site that I used to generate thousands of sales for a beautiful niche market: pellet hunting and air rifles.
All I did to build this site was use the GetResponse landing page builder, build a list and then add my affiliate links. For each sale, I earn 3% of the order value, and when a pellet gun is valued at between 2 million and 15 million, that equates to a total commission of around 75 thousand per conversion. While it’s not a huge commission, it’s not bad considering the affiliate site only takes a few minutes to set up.
Use Google Ads to Increase Traffic
The next step for generating commissions through Amazon affiliate sites is to drive automated traffic to those offers. While this can be done using free methods like TikTok and Instagram, Google Ads are very cheap if you target very specifically. For specialized air rifles for hunting use, the competition is very low, and it costs absolutely nothing – even less than 7k per click when I used this affiliate site.
I can usually get around 20–25 conversions per day from running Google Ads to these affiliate sites, with around 1.4M-2M per day in commissions from front-end sales before advertising costs. This particular affiliate site has a conversion rate of about 40%, so my average cost per conversion is 28k.
Actual profits vary, but just on the front-end conversion of actual airgun sales, I can make about 15 million per month in profit from airgun sales alone, not considering the 24 hour cookie that Amazon Associates offers.
Amazon Associates Cookies
For those of you who are not familiar with Amazon’s affiliate program, every time a customer clicks on one of the affiliate links, you don’t just get a commission from selling the product you originally promoted. For 24 hours, you will get a commission for every product a customer buys. So even if a customer clicks on a link but doesn’t convert, I still have the opportunity to earn some commission. When I drive this much traffic to affiliate links every day, I can earn a lot of commissions on the backend simply because people who click on my affiliate links end up buying something else on Amazon within 24 hours. Having said that, you should consider that you will earn commissions not only for the products you promote, but also for anything that customers buy on Amazon.
