Despite the fact that Google was one of the creators of the technology behind the Artificial Intelligence that popularized ChatGPT, the search giant has shown that it has rested on its laurels in recent years and with the launch of the solution OpenAI so that any user could generate text and/or get answers based on a text or question, in the last few months it has stepped on the accelerator.
Google’s solution to ChatGPT and Bing Chat is called Bard. Desde hace algo más de un mes, algunos usuarios han held the opportunity to try it, pruebas que no le han jado en muy buen lugar. However, Google has continued working on this IA and a few days ago, it published a new update on it Bard’s evolutionan evolution that, without a doubt, will be appreciated by all the people who are dedicated to programming applications.
According to what we can read in this publication, Google claims that Bard allows you to perform programming and software development tasks, to be able to generate and debug code. In addition, it also offers an explanation of each of the lines of code that you create in more than 20 programming languages and among those that we find JavaScript, Java, Python, TypeScript, C++, Go among others, with the most used programming languages.
The function that allows debug from code is ideal for reducing the number of lines of code to perform a certain function so that it is more efficient and/or fast in practically any programming language, so it is a tool that, when publicly available, software developers no pueden dejar de lado at least to prove that this function is equally satisfactory as the one that currently ChatGPT and Bing Chat put at our disposal.
If we are not done with the execution error that presents us with a code, we can also use Bard to analyze it and find the problem together with the solution, functions that are also available on the OpenAI and Microsoft platforms.
A very important point of Bard’s support to generate code, if found, is that, like Bing Chat, Bard includes a link to the fuente de donde ha obtenido el código siempre y cuando se trate de un open code project. Like any AI, the code that Bard can offer us can contain small errors, so it is not an ideal tool for programming if we do not have any type of knowledge, but it is an additional help in the day to day from the programmers.
For the time being, Bard is still available for a very small number of people and for the time being they do not know the company’s plans to expand its use in private beta and that the media can correctly analyze the level at which Bard is currently in comparison with the options currently available in the market.
